Sim Khera, Director
Sim is a teacher and critical-thinking specialist with more than 25 years’ experience in education. She specialises in educational consultancy, curriculum development and the design of engaging, curriculum-aligned teaching resources and school workshops.
She provides strategic educational consultancy, supporting clients from the initial concept through to resource development, workshop design and piloting, impact evaluation and facilitator training. Her work ensures that ideas are translated into practical, engaging learning experiences that align with school curricula and existing educational frameworks, and meet the needs of teachers and pupils.

collaborating with actor and writer Jassa Ahluwalia to develop a school workshop based on his book Both Not Half which explores mixed-heritage identity and history

working with the Paul Canoville Foundation to develop, pilot and evaluate a resilience programme for schools, based on the experiences of Chelsea FC's first black footballer, exploring how young people respond to challenges and move forward

creating curriculum-linked learning resources for The Line, East London's public outdoor art trail, inspired by the work of artists Larry Achiampong and Thomas J Price.

designing six lessons for Since 9/11, a charity that tackles extremism through education, which help towards meeting the Prevent duty as well as promoting fundamental British values and are mapped to the Citizenship and RSHE curriculum.

designing, piloting and evaluating workshops for the Counter Extremism Project.
Alongside her consultancy work, Sim teaches part-time as Head of Learning for Life at an East London secondary school. She is a Thoughtful Philosophy for Children (P4C) trainer, specialising in oracy, critical thinking, philosophical enquiry, dialogue and the development of young people’s reasoning and independent learning. She works with primary and secondary schools, as well as training teachers.
She has an academic background in English Literature and Philosophy, Ethics and Psychology, alongside a PGCE in English and Citizenship Education.
Sim combines specialist educational knowledge with creative thinking and practical classroom experience to help organisations develop high-quality educational projects, teaching materials and workshops that make complex ideas accessible, relevant and impactful for young people.

Danny Lye, Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant
Danny brings over 20 years of senior leadership experience in education, including 10 years as a Headteacher. He has led schools serving diverse communities through significant periods of improvement, growth and change, developing cultures built on inclusion, high expectations and professional learning.
His experience has shaped a deep interest in what makes leadership effective, and what enables people to sustain it over time. Danny works with leaders across education, business and other sectors through one-to-one executive coaching and leadership workshop facilitation. He understands that leadership is rarely straightforward. It involves making difficult decisions, balancing competing demands and taking responsibility for others, often in circumstances where there are no easy answers.
Danny believes that leaders need the opportunity to step back from the demands of their roles and think more deeply about the challenges they face, the decisions they make and the kind of leaders they want to be. His coaching offers a thoughtful balance of reflection and constructive challenge, helping people question their assumptions, develop greater self-awareness and see situations from new perspectives.
He is particularly interested in humanising leadership. For Danny, leadership is not simply about performance, targets or results; it is also about relationships, values and the impact we have on others. He helps leaders consider how they can meet the demands of their roles without losing sight of themselves, creating a more considered and sustainable approach to leadership.
Through his coaching and workshops, Danny creates space for honest conversations, fresh thinking and meaningful professional development. His aim is to help leaders develop a clearer understanding of themselves and their work, make thoughtful decisions and lead in ways that are both effective and true to their values. Ultimately, he wants leaders not only to do their jobs well, but to find purpose and fulfilment in how they lead and in the difference they make to others.
